ACM Website
The ACM website redesign project stemmed from the static nature of the current implementation. My talented four-person team decided that a dynamic version of the site would make the perfect project for our Web Design course during the Fall 2007 semester. Our team consisted of myself, the Project Manager, a Lead Designer, a Lead Developer, and an additional Developer.
The project incorporated the ability for administrators to log in and post new articles (club news and updates), and new events. The site also allowed other users to register and have their own profiles. These profiles would be very useful in grouping the membership based on interests, and observing how to focus the semester's events. The website incorporated RSS feeds for both the articles and events.
The website redesign was built using Ruby on Rails, Scriptaculous, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and Subversion.
