AirBattles

Project started in: 2007-09-01

Airbattles began as an independent project that I started over the summer of 2007. During that time, I familiarized myself with the Irrlicht Engine, and began sketching out my first game.

After initial sketches, I decided to start a special group within the ACM club at school, where we would focus primarily on game development. At the meetings, we would continue to plan out the game, and I mentored the students on how to begin creating their own game platform.

Airbattles is a cross-platform third-person Airplane Shooter that is being built using C++, the Irrlicht Engine, subversion, and the dOxygen documentation tools. The project will be featured in the "Computer, Computer Games, and Computer Graphics" exhibition in April 2008.
